This is the exact same video as the Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster 3D on-ride POV video we posted for those that cannot view the 3D version on their phone or tablet. Here’s the link to the 3D video we posted:

At nearly 4000 feet in downhill length – that’s over a mile of track – it’s the longest alpine coaster in the USA! You can control the ride, that reaches speeds of up to 27 mph if you go all out and don’t use the brakes. This video was filmed at full speed throughout the ride.
Check out the ridercam on-ride reverse POV video we posted to see more of how this alpine coaster rides and the pops of airtime it offers:
You can also watch the nighttime on-ride POV video to see the colorful LED lights that enhance the ride experience after dark:
The Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster is located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Also called mountain coasters, these gravity-operated rides installed on a hill or mountain utilizes a track made of stainless steel tubes. The sleds are designed to not come off of the track during the ride and riders control their speed by applying or releasing brakes connected to levers on each side of the sled.
